In the Wild
The Great Migration
Witnessing the Great Migration is, for many, the single most powerful experience in all of nature. Over 1.5 million wildebeest, together with hundreds of thousands of zebra and gazelle, move in an endless circuit through the Serengeti in search of fresh grazing — a river of life stretching to the horizon.
The most dramatic moments come at the river crossings between July and September, when the herds mass on the banks of the Mara and Grumeti rivers before plunging through crocodile-infested waters. We time your safari to the herds’ movements and position your camps to give you a front-row seat.

Balloon Safari
Lift off in the cool dark before dawn and rise silently over the Serengeti as the sun breaks the horizon and the plains wake beneath you. From the basket of a hot-air balloon, the sheer scale of the landscape reveals itself — herds moving like shadows, rivers threading through the grass, the curve of the earth on every side.

In the Wild
Walking Safari
To truly understand the bush, you have to leave the vehicle. On a guided walking safari, accompanied by an armed ranger and expert guide, the experience shifts entirely: you notice the small things — tracks, dung, birdsong, medicinal plants — and feel the thrill of sharing the landscape with wildlife on foot.
Walking safaris are available in select areas and are a superb complement to game drives, offering a slower, more intimate connection with the wilderness that few travellers ever experience.

Authentic Cultural Encounters
Tanzania is home to more than 120 ethnic groups, and meeting its people can be as memorable as its wildlife. We arrange genuine, respectful encounters — not staged performances — with communities such as the Maasai, whose pastoral way of life endures across the northern plains, and the Hadzabe, one of the last true hunter-gatherer peoples on Earth.
