Starting with breakfast at the lodge, you will depart Arusha in a privately booked 4x4 vehicle with a pop-up roof, which is going to Lake Manyara National Park, a beautiful 2-hour drive. Lake Manyara covers an area of approximately 330 km² and is famous for its tree-climbing lions, a flamingo-filled soda lake, and lush groundwater forests. This serves as a light introduction to the wildlife gathering. The guided morning game drive is private, you will traverse acacia woodlands where you will encounter hippos, giraffes, and baboons, not forgetting over 400 species of birds, your guide carefully managing his or her engagement bandwidth.
