Tour Overview
Embark on a journey that captures the very soul of East Africa. Your adventure begins in the quiet majestic beauty of Tarangire National Park, where elephants wander beneath ancient baobab trees. From there, you will traverse the Great Rift Valley to descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a prehistoric caldera teeming with rhinos, lions, and flamingos.
The climax of your safari is the legendary Serengeti. You will spend two nights at the Central Serengeti Camp, immersed in the sounds of the African night, while days are spent tracking the Big Five and potentially witnessing the Great Migration. On your final morning, trade the dust of the savannah for the breeze of the Indian Ocean as you fly directly from the bush to the white sands of Zanzibar.
The beginning of your journey is with your arrival at JRO, Kilimanjaro International Airport. After going through customs and retrieving your luggage, you will be greeted by your safari driver/guide, who will transport you to the Karatu area. The drive will take you through the beautiful and scenic Maasai steppe along with the very busy town of Mto Wa Mbu. After arrival and Flutter check in, you will take the rest of the afternoon to unwind and recover from the oversea/long haul flight. You can choose to take advantage of the lodges swimming pool, beautiful gardens and other features or you can simply relax in your room. After a good rest, and a top class dinner, you will be able to get some good sleep and be ready for the activities over the next couple of days.
Overnight: Farm of Dreams Lodge | Meal Plan: Full Board
After you finish your breakfast, you will leave with picnic lunch boxes for full-day game drives at Tarangire National Park. This park is a gem of Northern Tanzania, offering a wilder and quieter experience compared to the other visited parks. Tarangire National Park is famous for its huge herds of elephants and for its dry riverbeds where the elephants can be seen digging for water. The area is beautifully decorated with the 'Tree of Life', the baobab. If you love birds, you are in for a treat. The picnic lunch will be in the park, and the game drive will continue before you head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

We will finish breakfast then start our journey of the day. We will pack picnic breakfast and start our drive to the N’gorongoro Crater. We will stop for a picnic breakfast and then do a game drive into the Crater where we will explore the short-grass plains and search for the Big Five in this natural amphitheater. At the end of the day, we will exit the Crater and continue to the Serengeti where we will do a short game drive until we arrive at your accommodation for the next two nights, the Central Serengeti Camp where a welcoming of the African night awaits you.
Overnight at Central Serengeti Camp – Meal Plan: Half Board
Following the lodge breakfast, picnic boxes will be prepared for you, after which you will be driving to Serengeti National Park for a full-day safari. The literal translation of, “Serengeti,” means, “Endless Plains,” so prepare to be awed by the enormity of the park. For the wildlife in the park, we will be exploring the Seronera Valley which has year-round wildlife because of the permanent sources of water. This area contains the highest density of leopards and resident lion prides. If lucky, you will be present for the infamous spectacle of the Great Migration, dependent on the season of course. Dinner awaits you back at the lodge after which you will stay for the night.
